Trilingual place names for local signs

See up to three name forms: your selected language, Korean, and English or romanization, when available. Compare them with signs and station names. If a translation is missing, GOK Map keeps the Korean name and provides romanization where available.

Bus, subway and walking routes

Plan online public transport and walking trips, choose a departure time in Korea time, and review transfers and available fare information. Walking routes include an option to avoid stairs.

Plan ahead with a virtual location

Explore around a preset such as Myeongdong, Hongdae, Incheon Airport or Haeundae, or choose a point on the map or enter coordinates. A virtual location changes the starting point used within GOK Map; it does not change your device GPS.

Find places and useful details

Search for places or browse categories such as restaurants, attractions, shops and hotels. Open a place to see available photos, opening hours and address information, and save it for later.

Follow your trip in the foreground

Use walking directions and public transport steps, including boarding, alighting and transfers, while the page is open. Supported stops also show live arrival information; coverage depends on the source and service.

Before you go

Can I plan a trip before arriving in Korea?

Yes. A virtual location lets you browse nearby places and plan routes from a selected point, even when you are outside Korea.

Which languages are supported?

The interface supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Place names use available translations, Korean names and English or romanization; not every place has a translation in every language.

Does the web map include driving or offline navigation?

The web version provides online public transport and walking routes. Driving and offline navigation are marked as app-only features. Foreground web navigation is designed for use with the page open.

Where are my saved places stored?

Favorites, recent places and preferences stay in the current browser. They are not synced between devices, and clearing site data removes them.
